Dating and Relationship Coaching
Dating and relationships are common, normative and developmentally-appropriate for young adults and adolescents on the spectrum and with challenges. StarPointe offers course work that is directed to dating, safe dating and the topic of sex (including porn addiction). Each of these courses include group coaching sessions and one to one coaching.
PEERS® Training
Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for Young Adults (Ages 18-35) and for Teenagers (Ages 12-17) is a 16 or 14 week evidence-based social skills intervention training for motivated young adults and , who are interested in learning skills to make and keep friends and develop romantic relationships, conflict resolution and more.
During each group session, young adults and teenagers are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills. Each young adult’s Social Coach is learning the skills to help further and generalize all skills learned.
Life Skills & Life Management Coaching Modules
From time management and budgeting, to cooking and planning, our life skills coaching module is focused on generating an essential road-map to a life of success, comfort, and efficiency.
Life management modules teach informed decision making, personal goal setting, reflective practice along with skills designed to develop and strengthen executive functioning capabilities.
The goal of this module is to introduce strategies to achieve a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Career Development Coaching Module
StarPointe provides career development coaching with a focus on developing self-awareness, and identifying potential career path opportunities that are a good match to client’s individualized profile.
